Components of the Pedestrian & Driver Alert (Panda) System


The Panda Systems has many different components. This allows for better modularity at a lower cost. Users can decide what aspects they need most, and the capacity desired. The System can be divided into three different sections: the Activation Options, the Warning Options, and the Controller.

The Activation Options:

Pedestrians can manually activate the System as needed. A button is mounted on a pole for ease of access and usage. The device connects directly to the Alert Device Controller (see below). No matter the weather or time, the wireless activation allows for safe and quick results.

Operating Panda

The Pedestrian And Driver Alert System adapts to pole-mounted warning signs. In the instance of a pedestrian crossing, the Wireless Road-Side Warning Lights (see above) would have to be 6-20 metres before the area of concern. The additional Wireless In-Road Warning Lights (see above), typically placed along the centre line, would have a space of 4-10 metres.

Network Security

Network Licenses
