Custom Tones for the Hazavoid Wireless Alarm System
Using the Hazavoid WiLAS (pictured above) as a PA System can create a safer environment from general announcements. If there is a specific zone of concern, users can choose to play a message repeatedly in order to alert drivers and pedestrians to stay aware. Anyone near is able to activate the system using the mote. Doing this, they can choose to create custom tones for the situation such as “Vehicle Approaching” or “Stop”. Doing so would indicate to all that the areas needs to be approached with care.
Custom Colours for the Hazavoid Wireless Alert Beacon System
The Hazavoid Wireless Alert Beacon System offers four different colours (Red, Amber, Blue, and Green) to fit most situations. In cases of sensory overload, LEDs can indicate danger or lack thereof in better ways than tones and alarms can. Creating reliable and adequate training for staff can allow for easy directing and less panic.
Using sensors for both sides, it becomes easier to find the area of concern. When a car drives by a sensor, at the same time as a pedestrian does, the Hazavoid WiLERT (pictured above) will activate. This is especially useful for situations where blind spots may especially be present, such as construction or industrial sites, as well as intersections or nighttime where visibility is not optimal.
