Custom Tones for the Hazavoid Wireless Alarm System
The Hazavoid solutions can easily fit within previous infrastructures to avoid costly changes and allow for quicker installation. There are two ways to use the WiLAS System (pictured above): to inform and to alert. Users do not need to have a separate PA System. The Hazavoid solution can function to share general announcements for everyday operations. Moreover, one can also use it for safety purposes as intended. This is done using the remote, with either pre-built tones such as “Evacuate” or by customising messages as needed depending on one’s field or location.
Custom Colours for the Hazavoid Wireless Alert Beacon System
The Hazavoid Wireless Alert Beacon System offers four different colours (Red, Amber, Blue, and Green) to fit most situations. In cases of sensory overload, LEDs can indicate danger or lack thereof in better ways than tones and alarms can. Creating reliable and adequate training for staff can allow for easy directing and less panic.
Beacons can be activated via sensors or by using the remote control. In situations where many different workers have to be in the same environment, having visual cues can assist with staying aware and creating safer working conditions. For instance, if a train enters a maintenance shed or a zone where many workers are situated, beacons will light up. This can last until one manually stops the alert, or until no workers are in the zone of the sensors. Having this delimited danger area can help mitigate risks. If an accident does happen, one can use the remote to activate the nearest beacon. This would then create a chain reaction to warn other workers around, either to be careful or to provide help, depending on the colour.
